A career devoted to helping people move forward.
For most of my career, I worked in behavioral healthcare as a clinician and clinical director, taught as an adjunct faculty member, and owned a private practice. I was also one of three founders of The Highview Center, a group practice that served the Middletown community from 2004 to 2026.
Throughout those years, some clients and their families chose to work with me for 20 to 30 years. Their continued trust is something I have always valued and never taken lightly.
When my business partners retired, I realized I was not ready to stop helping people. Instead, I felt called to begin a new chapter focused on coaching and consulting. Today, I draw upon decades of education and experience to help people identify their strengths, understand what may be holding them back, and take meaningful steps forward. My work is now focused on coaching and consulting rather than diagnosing or treating mental health conditions.

Experience that informs every conversation.
My professional experience includes clinical leadership in community mental health, work with veterans in an inpatient mental health and substance-use treatment setting, adjunct teaching at Ohio University and the University of Dayton, private practice ownership, and nonprofit leadership.
In 2005, I founded WHIIMS, Women’s Health Issues in Miami Valley Sisterhood, to help women facing cancer and other health-related challenges. As a cancer survivor myself, I understand the value of compassionate support, practical help, and feeling less alone during difficult seasons.
My Christian faith, commitment to family, and belief in caring for the whole person continue to shape the way I serve others. For clients who desire it, faith and spiritual growth can be thoughtfully incorporated into our work together.
